Want to Get to Know Me?

Hey there, gorgeous!

***Just a little update about me & my family!*** (1/28/14)

*Well my hubby and I have been married for a little over 2 years now and are doing well. He's working as a Sales Associate in a fast track to management for a premium retailer of Verizon Wireless and he's great at it! Our baby girl, Zoe, turned 2 on Dec. 29 and then we welcomed her baby sister, Aubree Noelle, early the next morning on December 30, 2013 at 7:59am! I'm home, taking care of two perfect little girls and finally able to blog again on a consistent (or as much as possible with two little ones) basis now that my laptop and internet are up & running again at home so look forward to new posts soon! Thanks for reading. Lots of love! - Tina*

I know there's an "About Me" section that Blogger has you fill out when you first set up your blog, but it's down on the side-bottom of the page, and here I can update as things change!

My name is Tina and I recently married my amazing husband, Justin (who you read about often lol), on October 28, 2011. We met our perfect angel, Zoe Olivia, on December 29, 2011 when she finally arrived! I had her via c-section, which contrary to popular belief, was AMAZING! My husband judged me hardcore, but I was able to go get my nails done the night before (baby pink for my little girl, of course) with my sister-in-law, then wake up, do my makeup (I'm not pushing so why the hell not look good for the pictures?? haha) Anyway, and totally unrelated to the point of my blog, if you ever have to have a c-section (I can only speak for planned ones, not emergency) feel free to ask anything! I'm very open & I know that it can be scary, but oh was it relaxing! I joke with my hubby all the time and ask when I can have my next one so I get my vacation...I mean hospital stay! :)

Anyway, after high school I was super lost, like a lot of people, about what the hell I wanted to do with my life. I loved makeup and wanted to go to cosmetology school, but my grand-mom recommended I try working in the field to be sure it was what I really wanted to do. I started working for Macy's in King of Prussia Mall and worked there for just over a year as a beauty adviser (skin care consultant/makeup artist basically) and LOVED it. I absolutely adore doing people's makeup. I loved teaching young girls first getting into makeup about proper application and good skin care. I had so much fun doing trials on brides so they could figure out their perfect look for their special day. But my favorite had to be the girls/women who hadn't worn makeup in a long time, never wore it, or knew they were doing something wrong and came in just lost. They'd come up to the counter and basically be like HELP! I cannot even begin to explain the immense satisfaction of taking someone who was feeling down and helpless and showing them how easy doing a 180 to your look can be! The one thing I hated was having to sell. I had to push products to meet goals, sell the store credit card, and recommend the brand I worked for and guess what ... if you didn't know ;) ... not every brand works for everyone!

I left there to try out college courses, which wasn't really for me, but I did get to meet my amazing husband there so it was more than well worth it! Miss Zoe kicked my butt during my pregnancy and then I had to recover from my c-section (really not bad at all!) and now I'm sorting out money/childcare to actually, and finally get to cosmetology school so I'll have my license.

I was trained by Clinique for proper skin care analysis and I can help you figure out what kind of skin you have and address your personal concerns and let you know the products I think will genuinely help you. And if you haven't already noticed, I always try to find the best products at the lowest price so I'm only here to help!

Aaannddd, of course, I'd love to do your makeup! If you have a special event, a night out, would like a new, updated look, or want to learn how to do something you've seen with makeup (smokey eyes, contouring, etc.) feel free to ask any questions and we can try to work something out to get together if you're local. I'd love to help all of you feel more beautiful!

And to my amazing male readers, I know my blog has a lot of makeup tips and is rather pink, but I can certainly help you with any skin or hair concerns. Don't be shy, just ask anything!

Well, that's probably enough about me. If you want to know anything more, just ask! I'm a pretty open book.

Love yah!
-Tina
